So, for my EMAC class we had to make a “how-to” website, and this is what I managed. It’s not quite as nuanced/complete as I would prefer (there are more tropes I would like to include), but I was under time constraints. Also, I forgot to put links in a few places, but otherwise it runs rather smoothly. CHECK IT OUT!

I’m trying to wax poetical on you, so you’ll have to forgive me. You see, I have 22 minutes before I’m supposed to be finished here, and I can’t really bring myself to care. After all, there was someone here before me, and there will be someone after, and I can’t really tell if anyone will notice if there is an in between. In fact, if I left right now, I don’t think anyone would know the difference. Maybe in a million years, someone might… But that isn’t for a long time.
We spend a lot of time worrying about what isn’t our here and now. In 22 minutes I’m supposed to be finished here. For now, though, I’m just here. I know the alphabet, I can speak just over one language and I can pretend a whole lot of things. I know a lot of people who wanted to be archaeologists. That’s a funny idea, though, to spend your whole life caring about the little things that happened thousands of years ago. I don’t know anyone who actually became an archaeologist, so I can’t tell you for sure, but I doubt they spend half so much time caring about the little things in their own pockets.
